Humanizing Data

Jer Thorp’s talked about it and I agree – data needs a human context. But more importantly the distillation of data, the synthesizing of data for meaning, needs to be done with an eye toward value. This speaks somewhat to the context. When will someone value the information gleaned from data?

When the results of mining data actually solve a problem.
