The Hawthorne Effect

The tendency to act differently when you know you are being watched. It’s also holds true when you’re watching yourself – by self-tracking, say. Which is why tracking what you do, even what you weigh, can be effective.

There are lots of tools out there to help you. Some interesting ones include Gruve, Withings, and Digifit Connect.
