Step 1 – don’t listen to well-meaning advice. Ultimately, according to this article, and I have to agree, you know what works best for you.

The common sense stuff stills applies – start slow, etc. But toe shoes? Use your best judgment.

Note: I do not use them and have been perfectly happy.
