June 30th, 2011Weighty Results
June 28th, 2011What you eat matters. You knew that, but recent results from a study by the Harvard School of Public Health showed that sugary beverages are highly correlated with weight gain. Also on the culprit list? Potatoes. In any form – chips, fries, etc.
Interestingly, the foods that are correlated with weight loss are nuts and yogurt. The researchers hypothesize that they are more satiating foods and yogurt may actually contribute to good bacteria in the colon.
Surprisingly, cheese did not tip the balance either way.
