The Kings of Pastry

November 17th, 2010

Tablehopper refers to it as “The Culinary Hurt Locker.” It’s the new movie, The Kings of Pastry. It’s about chefs competing for the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (MOF), France’s highest pastry honor.

It opened tonight at the Balboa Theater in San Francisco. Sweet!

    Hi Alicia,

I am just heading off to NYC with recipes in hand to cook Thanksgiving Dinner for Andrew’s relatives…it will be several days of prep. Holidays are just what cooks love!

Thanks soooo much for letting me know about this movie. I hadn’t heard about it and I missed the Portland showing. Thank goodness for Netflixs….it’s been added to my queue thanks to YOU!!! :)

    Sweet regards from up North!
    Mary :)
PS Please note my new email address…I couldn’t recall if you had it or not since my old verizon email is still being forwarded.
