No me había dado cuenta de que yo podía ser una empresaria hasta que conocí Steve Rafferty. Steve es un amigo que vivía cerca de mi en San Francisco. Cuando se dejo su trabajo y empezó su propia compañía, de repente se me hizo posible. Después de todo, si Steve lo podía hacer…

A veces todo lo que se necesita es verte a ti misma dentro de alguien mas que esta logrando cosas grandes. Sabiendo solo esto, un Viejo amigo de Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, Jill Bowman, creo Lookilulu, un sitio web que “Ayuda a niñas ver lo que pueden lograr.” Jill recientemente me invito a compartir mi historia en su sitio y me entrevisto en mi primer podcast (también, desafortunadamente, mientras que tenia un catarro terrible).

Opening Up

I didn’t realize I could become an entrepreneur until I met Steve Rafferty.  Steve is a friend who used to live near me in San Francisco.  When he left a full-time job and started his own company, it suddenly became possible for me.  I mean, if Steve could do it…

Sometimes all it takes is a chance to see yourself in someone else who is doing big things.  Knowing just that, an old friend from Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, Jill Bowman, created Lookilulu, a website “Helping Girls See What They Can Do.”  Jill recently invited me to share my story on the site and interviewed me in my first podcast (also, unfortunately, while I had a terrible cold).
